Kip Lou (they/them) is a comic artist and illustrator based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are a graduated in May 2023 from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. They majored

in the Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in

comic art and minoring in teaching artists.

As a part of Lou’s work, they focus on traditional

and digital designs, creating pieces that follow horror, comedy, and/or fantastical themes. In their artistic practice, Lou aims to expand and collect creative storytelling ideas. Lou believes that stories bring people together, sharing similar interests, experiences, and thoughts. Sharing stories, both in teaching and in practice, has the potential to release an indefinite amount of creativity and imagination.
